Hessed Notes

Field notes, slow cadence, written by one person.

I am Dan, a software engineer. I write here in the open about what I am building and what I am learning. The posts are short by default and long when they have to be.

Most of my recent work has been on Hessed OS, an agent operating system I am building with the constraint that human-and-model work should stay inspectable rather than opaque — every step accountable, every decision recoverable. If you arrived through a post and want to see what I do outside the blog, that is the thread to pull on. None of the posts here are product announcements; those live on the project site.

The blog is built in the open too — it is a static Astro site with a shared design system, Korean and English in parallel, hosted as a static export. There is no comments section, no newsletter signup, and no analytics. If you have something to say, the friendliest channel is email — or quote the post and link to it from your own site.
